Lynn was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (a more rare form of breast cancer) in the October of 2012 . Only about 10- 20% of women get this cancer.It is a very aggressive cancer, and due to her annual mammograms they were able to catch it during the early stages before it could reach her lymphs nodes. Lynn wants to encourage everyone to always get your mammograms because it really makes a difference. “It really makes you realize that you need to live everyday and enjoy every moment. So I try to live each day as it comes and try not to think too much about the future. Just enjoy life.” “I feel very fortunate. It is a terrible thing to go through, but it really makes you appreciate life.”
