Matt G.

Matt lives in San Carlos and is on the city council as well as running his own business. Matt is currently being treated for non hodgkin's lymphoma AITL (Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma). He was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s May 27, 2015, and, 2 weeks later, was diagnosed with non hodgkin’s. He tells us that people were a lot nicer after finding out that he had cancer. “You have to face the disease, it is something you have to fight. I look at it as, it has attacked me, and now I have to attack back.” Matt is a Christian, and realized that you must “lean on God, lean on your family and friends for prayer.”

Favorite place: the ocean, Pollock Pines on rock next to a river and listen to the water

Favorite hobbies: Reading about the American revolution and history
