Nick N.

Nick was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, also known as ALL, on January 30th, 2014. Nick enjoys playing and watching lots of sports, such as hockey and football. His journey with cancer had its ups, such as meeting pro players, and its downs, like not hanging out with friends or being able to go to school. Despite all these complications, Nick kept a positive attitude: “It made me realize that you need to appreciate life while you still have. There are people that don’t make it through this and I was one of the lucky ones who was able to make it thorugh this. Just thinking about that makes me appreciate life more. And it really helps me try to enjoy it a lot more.”
